NPI Material Coordinator

Amick Brown is seeking an experienced NPI Material Coordinator for our direct client.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA      
Duration: 1 Year

Roles and Responsibilities:

Material Availability
Line Support during NPI manufacturing
• Support Cross-functional team of Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Design Engineering, in addition to the CME team
• Triage (potential) line down incidents and coordinate CME responses
• Ensure timely process of high priority quality notifications and issues
• Guide sign-off of high-priority Engineering Changes (ECOs) through release

NPI Part Qualification
First Article Inspections
• Track FAI submittals and facilitate expedition of reports
• Help resolve basic FAIR discrepancies surrounding documentation

Production Part Qualification Process
• Assist in collection and tracking progress of required qualification records
• Submit or track submission of ECOs for PPQP records


Skill/Job Requirements:
In order to adequately perform the responsibilities of this position the individual must possess:

Essential
• Understand basic business and manufacturing workflows
• Successful supporting cross-functional teams
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to pivot between tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical communication
• Experience using various data reporting tools (Excel, Tableau, or SmartSheets)

Preferred
• Previous experience in material coordinator or expeditor role
• Familiarity with 21 CFR part 820 and ISO 13485 and GDP
• Experience using PLM tool (Agile or Windchill)
• Experience using a ERP Information Systems (preferably SAP)
• Ability to read and interpret detailed specifications and schematics and communicate technical information
• Experience in a medical device company
