Amick Brown is seeking an experienced Sitecore Developer for our direct client.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA   
Duration: 9 Months with possible extension.


Job Description:

The Sitecore Developer – Digital Marketing builds, executes, and implements application components and technology for clients web platform and digital marketing programs which serve thousands of users daily. Partnering closely with a Sitecore Architect as well as technical marketing and product management leadership, this role has primary responsibility over Sitecore and associated production level web applications and components. This role is part of the Brand & Creative team that owns, defines and delivers capabilities for the next generation of the web platform we use to tell our stories, engage our customers, and drive sales. 

This role is for an accomplished Sitecore developer passionate about coding and deploying Sitecore modules, page templates, and media libraries. This role implements content, backend business logic, integrates Sitecore with clients marketing and data infrastructure platforms, and supports numerous high-visibility global marketing opportunities. Sitting at the nexus of outbound and inbound digital marketing, the role interfaces regularly with product, content, visual design, IT, and analytics stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, customer-focused and enjoys a challenge. In the past, you’ve developed your reputation as a expert Sitecore Developer at a leading brand using web and digital as a primary channel to efficiently drive leads and revenue. You understand how to configure Sitecore environments, implement design systems, structure multisite / multilingual solutions, build component based sites, follow Helix principles, and create technical documentation. You love working with technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’re a builder, a team player, a teacher and not one to sit on the sidelines. You have an appreciation for delivering solutions on-time, within budget, while meeting strong design principles and exacting brand standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and implement Sitecore components, templates, media libraries and design systems with pixel-perfect attention to detail
• Partner with Sitecore Architect and product leadership to execute, maintain, and ensure design standards across all production and development environments
• Quickly grasp the essence of business goals, identifying technical needs and design system dependencies
• Provide configuration management, development, and advise key stakeholders on topics ranging from debugging to testing and QA protocols
• Deliver projects by adapting techniques to best fit circumstances and flex when objectives change in following agile methodology
• Support publication of content and other work as needed

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Experience working with or for leading brands with strong design principles and standards
• 3+ years building and operating component-based sites and services using Sitecore and helix principles; Sitecore Developer Certification a plus
• Strong coding capabilities and demonstrated experience with Sitecore, ASP.NET, Javascript, Node.JS, C#, Gulp scripting, Powershell scripting, Github, Jenkins, HTML, CSS, SaSS, React-Bootstrap, Docker, Razl
• Subject matter expertise in cloud ecosystems, primarily with AWS
• Proficient using REST APIs and understanding HTTP and REST architecture
• Prior experience with Coveo, IMgix, Brightcove, Google Analytics, OneTrust, Marketo, OKTA/SSO and other third-party technologies a plus
• Proven ability to forge trusted relationships within a diverse team
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
• Able to apply sound judgment while working independently within tight timelines
• Outstanding attention to design principles and standards
