Talent Acquisition Sourcer

Amick Brown is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Sourcer for our direct client.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 12 Months

Primary Function of Position:
This position will be responsible for sourcing and candidate generation for Client’s technical positions. Thus help to meet the strong hiring demand of our business units in the US. Talent Acquisition sourcer will execute sourcing strategies using resources such as direct sourcing, job boards, recruiting events, social media, etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with technical recruiters to understand job requirements and implement search strategy
  •  Research and generate target lists of companies and potential sources to recruit from
  • Generate applicants using cold calling, networking, internet sourcing, job boards, social media, employee referral programs, job fairs, trade fairs, associations, etc.
  • Screen and assess interested candidates for basic fit for the organization and role and provide recommendations on candidates to interview.
  •  Focus on sourcing passive candidates through extensive name generation research, relationship building, internet searches, existing talent pool database searches, and research.
  •  Attend client meetings with recruiters to gain a better understanding of job requirements. Provide inputs to recruiters and hiring managers regarding local candidate pools, enabling better decision making about hiring strategies.
  •  Monitor trends and developments in sourcing tools and technologies and utilize social media for sourcing and other marketing forums.
  •  Drive initiatives to enhance candidate sourcing strategies.
  • Utilize and maintain Talent Acquisition candidate management and Applicant Tracking Systems

Skill/Job Requirements:
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  •  Demonstrated success with cold calling and proactively identifying candidates for highly technical positions in a corporate or recruitment agency setup.
  •  Good judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  •  Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to build external and internal relationships and develop networks to identify talent.
  •  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills, professional and personable phone presence.
  •  Strong familiarity with ATS,CRMs, sourcing tools, social media, and other candidate generation methods
  •  Strong research, influencing and selling skills
  •  Passion for improving the customer experience for hiring managers, candidates, and new hires.
  •  Experience working with an automated Applicant Tracking System and/or candidate relationship management tools.
