Organizational Change Management/OCM Analyst

Amick Brown is seeking an experienced Sr. Organizational Change Management/OCM Analyst for our direct client.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA        
Duration: 6 Months with possible extension.


The role of the Sr. Change Management Analyst is key to the success of such initiatives undertaken by Information Technology project teams. This role will be part of project teams, put together strategy for change management, communication, and training, and execute.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Leverage Information Technology Project Management methods and tools to effectively manage change and enable digital transformation.
  • As part of project delivery, evaluate and assess impact of change to our clients systems, processes, and people
  • Build plans to communicate and train impacted people on changes.
  • Put together and deliver effective training, educational content to address learning needs resulting from changes.
  • Develops, executes and measures a set of actionable and targeted training and change management plans, including but not limited to key messages for communications, sponsor/stakeholder engagement plan, and business readiness and measurement plan.
  • Partner with the project sponsors and the business teams to assess the impact of the change to the organization and create impact assessment and stakeholder assessment plans.
  • Partner with project teams to develop training material for different groups impacted stakeholders and deliver training.
  • Continuously identifies leading practices to develop and applies tools, techniques and approaches to managing change throughout various levels of the organization.
  • Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization both orally and in writing
  • Establish direction and define clear goals for specific projects. Define and communicate the path to achieving these goals.
  • This role is responsible to manage and support initiatives undertaken by IT across various domains such as business applications, infrastructure, and Security.
Required Skills:
  • Competency Requirements: (Competency is based on: education, training, skills and experience). In order to adequately perform the responsibilities of this position the individual must have:
  • 5 – 10 years of experience leading Change Management, designing, developing, and implementing Change Management methodologies and standards at an organizational level.
  • 5- 10 years of experience in IT Training & communication
  • Highly developed consultative, facilitation, project management and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or HR discipline preferred; advanced degree a plus
