Amick Brown is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager- Corporate Applications  for our direct client.

Location: Norcross, GA
Duration: 6 Months

Location: Atlanta (preferred) or Sunnyvale
Office: Remote until Jan 31, 2022 and then hybrid (2 to 3 days a week on office) - contingent on City / County / State Health Services Guidelines


Job Description
  • The Senior Project Manager, Corporate Applications is responsible for ensuring IT applications projects and programs in the Finance, HR, and Legal areas are completed to the agreed upon level of quality and within the predefined financial, resource, and material constraints.
  • The role also provides functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing IT systems and procedures in the Finance, HR and Legal areas that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
  • The Project Manager will work on business enhancements and projects in applications used by Finance, HR and Legal.
  • These include, but are not limited to, SAP (Finance/Controlling/HR modules and their integration to others), Ariba, Hyperion Planning, Oracle HCM.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Define clear scope deliverables, communication plans, resource plans, and continue to maintain those plans for Finance/Legal/HR solutions
  • Participate in the definition of project development/deployment metrics
  • Create, execute, and maintain project work plans, identifying resources and assigning individual responsibilities.
  • Proactively manage project scope, risks, and issues and know when to escalate
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time with the accepted level of quality.
  • Ensure appropriate communication on system changes to key stakeholders as well as the business applications team.
  • Ensure the project team works together focusing on common objectives.
  • Resolve team conflicts.
  • Ensure team members comply with IT change management policy and company standards, methods, and procedures.
  • Ensure internal and external controls are followed and report exceptions immediately
  • Collaborate with HR sub-teams, IT, Corporate Communications, business units, and other groups as appropriate.
Skill/Job Requirements:
  • Have at least 10 years of experience leading IT initiatives supporting Finance and HR organizations.
  • Ability to influence business teams, including management, in the selection and design of technology solutions as well as implementation approaches.
  • Successful track record in leading cross-functional, cross-team projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across various verticals simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment.
  • B.S. in Computer Science or related area or equivalent work experience
Nice to have:
  • Experience in validated GxP projects
  • Experience with SAP Finance solutions required. Ariba, Hyperion, Oracle HCM experience a plus.
