Job Description
- Simulator Product Development Support
- Assemble and disassemble simulators for multi-departmental support (simulators, internal HW components for putting sims together/repair)
- Program and configure simulators and consoles for multi-departmental support (firmware programming, software installation)
- Test simulator (both software and hardware) and be comfortable and knowledgeable working with PCB and etc.
- Maintain and track fleet of product development hardware utilizing internal systems
- Department Engineering Support and Device Fleet Support
- Qualify new hardware to run on Simulators
- Be a point of contact for logistics operations including shipping and receiving of simulators from and to department lab
- Communicate with internal customer support of improved processes and troubleshooting guides
- Create new troubleshooting guides/processes
- Help drive and encourage new processes to bring down frequently occurring issues
- 3+ years of assembly experience building computer systems using common hardware components (motherboards, GPUs, power supplies, etc.) and installing software components (drivers, applications, etc.) on Windows OS
- Experience working in engineering support functions (electrical PCBs, Software development, IT systems) required
- Must be familiar with Windows OS environment
- Must be familiar with MS Office suite
- Must be a self-starter and takes responsibility and pride in delivering high quality to commitments on time
- Proactive, lean-in, and can-do attitude and approach to meeting and exceeding commitments
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills with an ability to relate to different people in cross-functional teams
- Capable of working independently and collaborating across a global organization
