Amick Brown is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician for a contract role with our direct customer in the public sector. Location: Auburn, CA Duration: 6 Months – part time
Roles and Responsibilities
Technical support to the end user community
PC imaging and deployments/replacements to users
IT help desk duties such as answering help desk phone and troubleshooting.
Repair of PC hardware, printers, tablets and peripherals
Software updates and office application support.
Active Directory administration of users and groups
Support of all applications typical in a Windows environment - MS Office 365 / Outlook, Adobe, Active Directory
Testing, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and maintenance of desktop computer, network, and communication system hardware and software.
Required Skills
General IT knowledge of
Applications typical in a Windows environment - MS Office 365 / Outlook, Adobe, Active Directory, Web Browsers configuration, Remote Support Tools
PC hardware components
Basic computer networking knowledge
Windows 10 OS
Collaboration applications and peripherals – MS Teams, Zoom, Webex, Headphones, Webcams
iPhone support
Tech Refresh Experience
PC Deployments, Profile copy/restore, Reimaging, Wiping procedures
Basic methods and techniques of testing, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and maintenance of desktop computer, network, and communication system hardware and software.
Work independently and as a cooperative, contributing member of a team.
Record keeping/Inventory tracking experience
Good communication skills and customer service skills
