Amick Brown is seeking an experiencedCLINICAL EDUCATION SPECIALIST forour direct client. Location:Sunnyvale, CA Duration: 6 Months.
The Clinical Education Specialist is primarily responsible for the presentation of clinical and product information during training programs to improve the knowledge and skills of the sales force.
The Clinical Education Specialist will also assist the Clinical and Product Education Managers with creating content to address the short and long term education needs of the field.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and deliver clinical presentations/activities during sales training programs
Train and qualify Sales Training presenters on clinical presentations
Work with Education Managers to develop new learning content and evaluations as well as improve upon existing training activities
Act as a as a clinical subject matter expert for Instructional Designers
Support current procedure advancement alongside engineering and marketing teams
Background: Clinical or Health Science degree preferred, Marketing degree acceptable, College degree required
1-3 years’ experience in biotech or medical device organization preferred
Experience with adult learning and education
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical disease states, surgical applications
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office applications including: MS Word, Power-Point, Excel
Experienced multi-tasker; ability to manage multiple projects and successfully meet deadlines
Must be able to complete 4-5 week internal training course on product functions and applications
Clinical Data Specialist: Collaborates with various departments on the design, documentation, testing and implementation of clinical data studies.
Develops systems for organizing data to analyze, identify and report trends.
Analyzes the interrelationships of data and defines logical aspects of data sets.
Prepares reports of clinical trial studies for internal validation and cross validation studies.
May evaluate and resolve issues regarding contents of reports.
