IT Test Analyst

Amick Brown is seeking for a experienced IT Test Analyst,

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of working experience in IT with extensive experiences in the positions of test analyst, system analyst, or business analyst.
  • At least 5 years of working experience as a business analyst or test analyst working with
  • software systems used for pension/retirement administration purposes.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a test analyst, planning and performing the quality assurance activities for a pension administration system that uses ADABAS for mainframes and servers.
 
Desirable Qualifications:
  • 10 years or more of IT consulting services at a California State agency.
  • 5 years or more of providing testing and/or business analysis services at a California State agency.
  • Prior experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle and MS.Net technologies and products.
  • Experience in understanding regulations and compliance in support of the development and testing of functional enhancements.
  • Bachelor degree from an accredited University.
  • Experience SDLC methodologies in software development projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and execute system testing tasks including, but not limited to, System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Ensure a smooth integration of test processes throughout the project life cycle.
  • Coordinate and execute the development and maintenance of detailed test plans and documentation.
  • Coordinate day-to-day SIT and UAT schedules and all testing efforts with the technical and business teams.
  • Maintain appropriate Release Management documentation for tracking of each release/issue through the test phases.
  • Coordinate and execute the verification of Test Execution Checklists (TEC) against functional and technical specifications and update the requirements traceability matrix.
  • Obtain appropriate signoff(s) for each phase (TEC, SIT, UAT, etc.).
  • Create final Test Summary Reports.
  • Provide various oral and written project communications and reports as requested to the Program Manager and stakeholders.
  • Track progress of the effort’s test related deliverables.
