Amick Brown is looking for a Senior Project Manager for Project Management of an SAP EDW Project in the public sector

Job Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of project plans, schedules, estimates and transition plans
  • Regular status/progress reports and program reviews at the task order level
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of policies, processes and procedures
  • Assist in the preparation revision, update and/or archival of documentation
  • Preparation of Work Breakdown Schedules, Risk Management documentation and Program Briefing materials
  • Support client in program reviews, milestone reviews, integrated team meetings and site assessments
  • Support the program in reporting to internal and external entities
  • Support the Portfolio Management tools in support of process documentation
  • Support the client in various administrative responsibilities

Required Skills:
  • Must have Project Management Certification i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Industry experience of at least 5 years as a Project Manager and 5 years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting field.
  • Experience in the project management in the public sector preferably in the defense sector
  • Experience in working with project management tools, work breakdown structures and program reporting
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with leadership
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast paced environment
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • ICAgile Certified Professional certification is required
  • Should be familiar with work intake and change control processes
